How do I stay connected to Bark 'n Yapp?

Why aren't I receiving emails from Bark 'n Yapp?

There are a number of different reason why you may not be receiving update emails form Bark 'n Yapp. Here are a few troubleshooting suggestions you can try:

  • Send an email to community@barknyapp.com to ensure you have confirmed that you want to receive communications from Bark 'n Yapp.

  • Search all folders (including Spam and Trash) for emails from no-reply@barknyapp.com. If you’re using a Gmail address, check your Priority Inbox settings and Inbox tabs.

  • Add no-reply@barknyapp.com to your contacts or safe sender list

  • Check your email forwarding settings to ensure no forwarding rules exist

  • Make sure you have no reached maximum capacity in your inbox

  • Confirm that the email address you are checking is the one you use for your Bark 'n Yapp

  • Send an email to community@barknyapp.com requesting a confirmation of the email address you supplied

If the above steps are unsuccessful, we suggest you try adding a new email address to your Business account by contacting community@barknyapp.com.


Can businesses dog owner's personal account information?

By default, businesses can see a dog’s name and city/neighbourhood when they leave a review. If the User added a picture of their dog and/or the breed, that will also appear in the review.


Does Bark 'n Yapp ever share my email address or account information?

What Bark 'n Yapp can and can't do with any personal information you provide us is described in our Privacy Policy.


Can I remove my business listing from Bark 'n Yapp?

Bark 'n Yapp publishes business listing information so that Bark 'n Yapp Users can share their experiences about parks, attractions and businesses. Because the information in our listings were gathered from public sources, they are considered a matter of public record and public concern. Therefore, we don’t remove these listing and information from Bark 'n Yapp unless we have determined the location does not exist anymore. We feel that if you are a reputable business, it will always be helpful to have your information shared publicly, otherwise why would you be in business?


If you do not have a Business account and would like to update or change the information on your business listing, please review the Getting Started section on how to register for a Business account. If you already have a Business account, you can submit any changes by sending an email to community@barknyapp.com.


What should I do if I think someone else has registered my business account?

Every business that registers with Bark 'n Yapp must go through a validation process. This will require the submission of a valid phone number on your registration. We will then ask some qualifying questions of you during the validation process.


If your business listing contains more than a name and address, then that means it has already been registered. How did this happen? Well, it may have already been claimed by one of your employees. You may want to check with your staff and if someone has registered it. We can change the primary contact on the account if you contact us at community@barknyapp.com.


If nobody on your staff has registered your account and you believe someone has fraudulently registered your account, please contact us immediately at community@barknyapp.com, so we can begin an investigation.
